Next Writing Audio Drama workshop

I’m really happy to announce that the next Writing Audio Drama workshop will be on Wed 16 Nov at 7pm at the Electric Sheep Book Bar again.

No need to have attended the previous one, and no writing experience is necessary.

For this workshop we will focus on writing the ‘hook’. The first few minutes of an audio drama is crucial in terms of getting and keeping your listener’s attention. We will look at some of the ways this can be done.

I know from our last workshop that some of you are avid audio drama listeners, so if you want you can message me here with some audio dramas that you think have great beginnings. We can discuss them during the workshop in relation to what makes a great opener.

You will also, of course, try your hand at writing one! So bring pen and paper (or laptop:)
